Defamation laws and claims of privacy
The Australian's Legal Affairs Editor Chris Merritt, takes issue with ABC's Media Watch summary of the likely impact of changes in defamation laws on claims for breach of privacy in the light of the new situation in most states that truth alone is a defence against an action for defamation.
