Has anyone ever seen research on this topic? Are women applicants under-represented?
Prompted by this announcement by South Australian Status for Women Minister Gail Gago that the state's Women's Information Service would have a new facility to enable women to make complaints to the Commonwealth and SA ombudsmen. And:
“It will also help women to instigate freedom-of-information requests with state and federal governments."A worthy new service, I'm sure, but as South Australia is an FOI reform black hole there's plenty of room there for government initiative.
