Your right to freedom - not
This editorial in today's Herald Sun highlights the weak nature of Premier Brumby's legislative changes to the Victorian Freedom of Information Act. It's hard to keep a straight face with the proposal to extend the time limit to 75 days when third party consultation is required. Legislative changes won't in any event address underlying problems of culture, leadership and oversight.
