Centrelink staff come knocking
This article in the Age reports that the Federal Government has introduced legislation that would allow Centrelink staff (after approval by a magistrate) to raid homes of those suspected of fraud. It reports concerns that conferring such powers on public servants, in addition to police, is an unnecessary extension of powers, and potential invasion of privacy
