This report in the Canberra Times says the annual report of the ACT Community and Health Services Commission reveals that an unnamed organisation dumped 28 medical files at a recycling centre. I would have thought that naming the organisation involved would have been a useful strategy, to promote compliance. The report doesn't say whether those involved were contacted about this breach of data security - let's hope so.
